Multitasking

Css or Cascading Style Sheet are just text files, or text embedded in the head of an HTML document, that somehow help separate content from appearance. The content of a page goes into an HTML file.

I'm really new with CSS and learning this is really a challenging one.

Knowing the "magic" of CSS makes designing "adventurous because CSS is like a "typical mom" multitasking.
Just like CSS, it helps to manage different designs in just one file that you are making into a website.

Tags

Html is really a roller coaster ride. There are a lot of tags to remember and remembering all of this makes me dizzy.

Although it is hard it is really fun to learn specially when I can see the immediate result of my work. It is a Trial and Error thing.

Must master it!!!

cloud vs desktop

Cloud application is internet based while Desktop application is not. Because Cloud is readily available in the internet, it is easily accessed when needed while in Desktop you have to install an application in order for you to access it. Cloud also saves money because it is easier to manage since there is no application installed while in Desktop you have to maintain and check its performance.

Aside from Cloud’s advantages, it has also its disadvantages and Desktop also has its advantages. In Cloud application you are not sure if your data is kept private since it is available through the net while in Desktop, you are sure that your data is safe because you are the only one that can access it. When the availability of the service shuts down there is no possible way to access your data in Cloud while in Desktop you are confident to find and use your data anytime.

Both Cloud and Desktop has their own advantages and disadvantages. For me, it is wise to use both. Use desktop application for backup and Cloud for instant usage. In this manner you will both save time and effort.

Which Way?

Last June 29, 2010, everything seems to be a blank for me. There is this activity that left a question mark on my mind. Shortcuts were given to perform a specific task but during the execution, all the shortcuts must be used effectively to achieve the main goal.

I was really lost then because I have to make a folder of mine inside a specific directory and I really can't find a way of how will i do it.

Up to this day, I am still thinking of the ways that I should had executed for me to achieve the set goal. I've learned that even though it is simple, don't take it for granted because following the right way can get you to the right path.

Paghahanap...

Mahirap maghanap ng isang bagay na hindi mo naman alam kung pano hahanapin... ngunit sa panahong ito, isang click lang okay na.
Talaga ngang malaki ang naitutulong sa atin ng internet ngayon, lalong lalo na ang Google.

Sa araw na ito, natutunan kong maaring mapadali ang paghahanap ng kahit anong bagay basta alam ko ang mas mabilis at epektibong "arrangement" ng mga salita na hinahanap ko. Hindi ko pala kailangang itype lahat ng salita. May mga "shortcuts" pala dito.

Nakakatuwang isipin na ang mga simpleng kasagutan ay makukuha rin sa simpleng paraan. Ang kailangan lang ay tamang pag-intindi sa bagay na kailangang hanapin at sagutan.

1. In your own words, give a short description of Linux

Linux as I have understand it is very efficient,
complete and has a fast-performing system. It is
offered to computer users with a free or at least
low-cost access.

2. What does Ubuntu Mean?

Ubuntu is an ethic that focuses on people's
fidelity and relationship with other people.

Ubuntu is the philosophy behind Linux that
believes that people should have an easy
access on operating system.

3. Explain the differences between Windows and Ubuntu in terms of directory access.

Windows uses "\" while Ubuntu uses "/" in
name directories and it is case sensitive.
Ubuntu is an open source and gives everyone
a free access while Windows is proprietory.

4. Relationship of / with /home?

Like in Family Tree, file system also
resembles the same structure. "/" is the root
record or the main directory. "/home" is just
one of the branches of "/", being the main
directory.

5. 3 other forms of relationships with respect to Ubuntu file system

"/" being the main directory, it has many
branches like the /home, /bin, /sbin, /var and
/usr. In /home, comes the /home/username
where you can also find download, pictures,
documents and desktop. In one of these
branches, documents have all the files that
has been saved. Each the directories have
their own branch that has designated positions

Today, I have learned that even file systems
has its own family tree. Ubuntu file system has
"/" as its "root record" and branches into other
sub-directories.

Knowing such relationship may help one to
trace a certain file. This is very much needed in
file tracing.

My Very First Time

It was as though things are like just before. I just come and go without leaving a single trace. I am just here, doing my normal routine, attending my classes.

Today is different. Wait! What makes this day different anyway? My lab class just started with a typical introductory portion. What is different with that?

Well, Sir Andrel told us to make a blog account and for others this may be typical and ordinary but for me it's like a big opportunity that is given to me to finally let my heart out. Though this blog is intended for our journals, at least through this, I could express myself.

Making an account is like every first time. Error may happened and you just have to do it again for you to finally achieve what you want.

Treat everything as though it was the first time so you will not be afraid to encounter errors and finally fix them because fixing problems could make a difference, a good difference.
